Studio is $34.99/month, or $29.16/month billed annually ($349.90/year), with 3,500,000 credits, WAV, and API access. Paid credits roll over. Free credits reset. WellSaid Free is 3 download minutes a month, no card, and no commercial rights. On the monthly toggle the first paid card is $19/month for 20 download minutes, and the next is $49/month for 180 minutes. On the annual toggle those cards are $10/month billed annually ($120/year) for 240 minutes for the year, and $33/month billed annually ($396/year) for 2,160 minutes for the year. Generation on the paid plans is unlimited. The minutes you pay for are the ones you download. The annual pool arrives for the year, not as 20 minutes each month. Business is $160 per user per month billed annually ($1,920/year) for 2,880 minutes a year per user.

What you are allowed to publish

WellSaid prints the rights on the card. Free has no commercial rights. The paid individual cards say full commercial rights. That is the line that matters for an ad read or a sponsored explainer. A draft you will never publish can live on the 3 free minutes.

The PlayHT cards read on this check list credits, clone slots, file format, and API access. They do not print a commercial-rights line. Confirm that on the terms before a paid read ships. Creator is the cheaper way to hear a long script. WellSaid is the one that tells you the download is cleared for commercial use.

The other voice on the shelf

ElevenLabs, from its October 18 listing, is the quality comparison. Free is $0 for 10,000 credits a month. The pricing FAQ lists Starter at $6/month for 30,000 credits and Creator at $22/month for 121,000 credits. Annual billing on that listing is ten months' price. A dubbed minute spends far more credits than a narration. Use PlayHT when the bill has to stay small and the script is a read. Use WellSaid when the download minutes and the commercial line are the thing you are buying. Use ElevenLabs when the voice itself is the reason. The AI voice and dubbing list is the rest.
