AI music for a podcast intro
Checked October 19, 2026 against suno.com/pricing, including the plan prices in that page. Auphonic's feature table was read the same day on auphonic.com/pricing. Dollar amounts for credit packs still did not render. Adobe Podcast is quoted from its listing, last checked October 17, 2026.
The right is the product
Suno generates a song from a prompt. Podcasters use it for an intro, a bed under a break, or a stinger. The pricing page splits the catalog by rights. Free is $0, with 50 credits a day, which the page calls 10 songs, up to 4 at once. Free lists no commercial use and no monthly song downloads. Pro and Premier include commercial use for songs made while you are subscribed. The FAQ says to follow the rules of any platform you share them on. A sponsored episode is still a terms question, not a checkbox on the plan card.
Pro is $10/month or $96/year ($8/month): 2,500 credits a month, which the page calls up to 500 songs, and 20 downloads. Premier is $30/month or $288/year ($24/month): 10,000 credits, up to 2,000 songs, and 60 downloads. Annual billing saves 20%. Included credits do not roll over from month to month. If a paid account runs out, you can buy more, and the FAQ says you also get 50 bonus credits a day until the cycle renews.
What to generate, and what to leave
Generate the piece short. An intro that runs a few bars is easier to judge than a long track you will fade anyway. Make two or three, keep the one that does not fight the voice, and download it on a paid plan. The free plan lists no monthly downloads, so it does not hand you a file to drop on the timeline.
The same prompt will not remember next week's episode unless you bring the description back. Save the prompt and the key with the show's other templates. Suno will not level the voice, cut the ums, or publish the RSS feed.
The tools that finish the episode
Auphonic is the processor for the episode itself: leveling, noise, loudness, and encoding. Free covers 2 hours of processed audio a month. Speech recognition and show notes start on paid credits. Put the Suno sting in the edit, then run the mix through a loudness pass so the music and the voice are not a surprise on headphones.
Adobe Podcast Enhance Speech is the one-pass cleanup when the room was the problem. It does not write music. If the recording is the thing that sounds wrong, fix that before you spend a month of Suno credits dressing it. The Podcast editing and Audio cleanup lists are the editors and the cleanup tools.

Questions
Can I use a free Suno song as a podcast intro?
Suno's pricing page says the free plan has no commercial use and no monthly song downloads. Free songs are personal and non-commercial, and they cannot be monetized. A show with ads, a sponsor, or a paid feed needs a song made on Pro or Premier. Read the terms before you publish one.
Do unused Suno credits roll over?
No. Credits included in the subscription do not carry over from day to day or month to month. Purchased top-up credits do not expire, and they require an active subscription to use.
Will Suno edit the episode or clean the voice?
No. It generates music. Leveling, noise, and loudness are a different job. Auphonic processes the finished mix. Adobe Podcast Enhance Speech cleans a noisy voice. Neither of those writes the intro.
