How we rank

Creator Toolbox is a directory for people who publish: podcasters, YouTubers, streamers, newsletter writers, and short-form editors. A tool is listed when it exists, has a public site, and does a job in that week.

What gets a page

We file a product under the job it actually does. Descript is an editor that also transcribes. Opus Clip is a clipper that also captions. A general writer such as Claude is listed under scriptwriting because that is how working creators use it, and the page says so.

The founding list was filed on October 1, 2026. New this week counts tools whose listing date is inside the last seven days. That date is when the tool joined this directory. It is not the day the company launched.

Order

Inside a job, and in the full directory, tools are alphabetical by name. A Sponsored slot can sit above that list, on a category page and once on the home page. It is labeled Sponsored. It does not move the name up the list. The name still appears in its letter.

Prices

Each page carries a pricing model, a short summary, and the date we last checked a public page. When a dollar figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page and we could read it, it is unmarked. When the figure comes from a secondary write-up, or the vendor page was incomplete, the listing says Approximate.

Plans change. The official link is the price that matters at checkout.

Who publishes this

Creator Toolbox is an independent directory from Oh Really Studios. We do not take a cut of the tools you visit. Featured listings, when checkout is open, are the paid product. The newsletter is the other one.
