Publer vs Typefully
Checked November 1, 2026. Publer was read on publer.com/plans with one social account and no extra members selected, and on Publer's help center for the OpenAI key. Typefully was read on typefully.com/pricing, including the Business yearly switch turned off. Buffer is quoted from its listing, last checked October 19, 2026.
An account, or a social set
Publer prices one social account. On the plans page, with 1 account selected, Professional is $5/month or $4/month billed yearly. Business is $10/month or $8/month billed yearly. Free is $0 for 3 accounts, except X, with 10 scheduled posts per account. Publishing immediately does not use a scheduled slot. The yearly control says 2 months free, and a FAQ says yearly billing is a 20% discount. $4 is 20% off $5. VAT is not included. For every 9 extra accounts, the 10th is free.
Typefully prices a social set, which is one identity across the networks it supports. Free is $0 for 1 set, 1 user, and 10 posts a month. Creator is $99/year, annual billing only, for 1,000 posts a month. Business is $18 per set per month billed yearly, or $20 per set per month with the yearly switch off, for up to 50 sets and 1,500 posts a month. The yearly switch does not change the Creator price. Buffer, from the October 19 listing, is the other account-priced scheduler: Free allows 10 scheduled posts per channel, and Essentials is shown as $5/month for 1 channel, $60 billed yearly.
Where the AI is included
Publer Business is the plan with unlimited AI prompts, analytics, best times, and the API. The help center says Free and Professional can connect your own OpenAI account, and OpenAI bills that usage. Professional's 7-day trial and Business's 14-day trial are on the plan cards. There is a 14-day money-back guarantee, and VAT is extra.
Typefully's AI writing starts on Creator. Free includes scheduling, agents, the API, and MCP, and it does not include the writing assistant. Business raises the AI allowance and adds unlimited users. If the draft is a thread and the networks are X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, or Substack, Typefully is the editor. It does not schedule Instagram or TikTok.
Which queue you actually have
A grid that includes Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is Publer's job, or Buffer's. X on Publer starts at Professional, because the free plan cannot connect it. One account on Professional is $5/month, or $4 billed yearly, which is the same shape of bill as Buffer's October 19 Essentials card.
A writing habit on X and LinkedIn, with a hard post cap, is Typefully. Ten posts a month is the free plan. A daily cadence is Creator, and that is $99 for the year, not a monthly try. The Social scheduling list has the other schedulers when the network you need is missing from both.
