Best AI tools for a video from a script
Pictory was checked October 26, 2026 on pictory.ai/pricing. The annual figures are from the comparison table, which says those prices are per month, billed annually. The month-to-month figures are from the plan cards on the same page. Fliki and invideo are quoted from their listings, last checked October 17, 2026. Those listings still do not quote a dollar figure.
Three tools that start from words
Pictory takes a script, a blog URL, or a PowerPoint and builds a video from stock, AI voice, and captions. A 14-day trial includes 300 credits, up to 10 minutes, and 3 videos. Starter is $25/month billed annually, or $29/month billed monthly. The annual pool is 24,000 credits, up to 360 minutes for the year. The monthly card is 2,000 credits, up to 30 minutes. Professional is $35/month billed annually (72,000 credits, up to 1,080 minutes for the year) or $59/month (6,000 credits, up to 90 minutes). Teams is $119/month billed annually (216,000 credits, up to 3,600 minutes for the year) or $199/month (18,000 credits, up to 300 minutes). Annual plans grant the credits up front. The Starter card also strikes through $29 beside the $25 annual price.
Fliki, from the October 17 listing, turns a script into a voiced, captioned video. The listing says a free tier exists and quotes no dollar amount. invideo, from the same check, starts from a script or a prompt and also quotes no dollar amount. Use those pages for the job they do. Do not treat a missing figure as a price.
What the Pictory trial actually exports
The trial is not a free plan. It caps a video made from a script or URL at 5 minutes, and the editor at 15 minutes. Export is 720p. Pictory branding stays on. Storage is 500 MB. Paid plans remove the branding, export at 1080p, and raise the script-to-video length to 30 minutes. Professional adds custom avatars. Teams is the plan with priority support and 3 or more users.
Credits are one pool for the AI features. The page does not print a cost per model. Every paid plan includes the same image, video, and voice models, including the ElevenLabs voices named on the table. The difference is the pool, the seats, and the brand kits.
When you already have the footage
These three are the wrong buy when the job is cutting an interview you recorded. That job is on the Podcast editing list. Descript cuts the file you have. Reduct does too, per editor, and the Reduct vs Descript page is that comparison.
If the video is a talking-head and the first hour is deleting pauses, the Best AI tools for filler words page is the cleanup comparison. A script-to-video tool will not recover a guest track you never recorded.

Questions
Is there a free tool that turns a script into a video?
Pictory's public offer is a 14-day trial with 300 credits and three videos, not an ongoing free plan. The Fliki and invideo listings say a free tier exists. Those listings were last checked October 17, 2026, and they do not quote the free limits.
What does a Pictory credit buy?
Credits are the shared pool for AI features. The pricing page does not print a cost per model. On the annual comparison table, Starter includes 24,000 credits, up to 360 minutes for the year. The monthly Starter card is 2,000 credits, up to 30 minutes.
Can I remove the Pictory watermark?
The comparison table says Pictory branding is included on the trial and not included on Starter, Professional, or Teams. The trial export is 720p. Paid plans list 1080p.
