AIVA vs Suno
Checked October 24, 2026 for AIVA, on aiva.ai with the monthly and yearly toggles. Suno and Stable Audio are quoted from their listings, last checked October 20, 2026.
Who owns the track
AIVA prints the copyright on the card. Free is €0, no card: 3 downloads a month, tracks up to 3 minutes, MP3 and MIDI. You must credit AIVA, you cannot monetize the track, and AIVA owns the copyright. Standard, on the monthly toggle, is €15/month. On the yearly toggle it is €11/month, billed annually, and the card says 26% off and adds + VAT. Standard is 15 downloads a month and tracks up to 5 minutes. You do not have to credit AIVA, and you can monetize on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Instagram. AIVA still owns the copyright. Pro is €49/month, or €33/month billed annually (the card says 33% off, plus VAT): 300 downloads a month, tracks up to 5 minutes 30 seconds, WAV included, full monetization, and the copyright is yours.
Suno, from the October 20 listing, does not print a copyright assignment. Free is $0: 50 credits a day, no commercial rights, and no monthly song downloads. Pro is $10/month, or $8/month on the annual toggle, with 2,500 credits, 20 song downloads, and commercial use for songs made while the subscription is active. Premier is $30/month, or $24/month annually, with 10,000 credits and 60 downloads. Commercial use is a plan feature. It is not the same sentence as AIVA's 'copyright owned by you.'
What a podcast intro actually needs
A bed under a voice needs a file you can download and a right you can publish. AIVA Free gives you the download and withholds the right. Suno Free withholds the monthly download and the commercial right. Either free plan can tell you whether the model fits the show. Neither free plan is the file you put in the episode.
If the question is the copyright, AIVA Pro is the card that answers it. If the question is a lower dollar price for commercial use, Suno Pro is the cheaper published number, in dollars rather than euros, and it caps downloads at 20 songs a month. Stable Audio, from the October 20 listing, is the third price: Free is personal and non-commercial, and Solo is $12/month with a commercial license on the paid plan. The AI music for a podcast intro page is the wider shelf, including Soundraw.
Which one to open
Open AIVA when a sponsor, a network, or a sync use means you need the copyright in your name. Pro is the plan that says that. Standard is a limited monetization license, and the copyright stays with AIVA.
Open Suno when you want a commercial-use song at $10, or $8 on the annual toggle, and 20 downloads is enough for the month. Read the terms before a sponsored episode. The listing's commercial-use line is not a copyright assignment. The Podcast editing list has the editors these tracks drop into.

Questions
Can I use a free AIVA or Suno track in a podcast?
AIVA Free forbids monetization and requires a credit, and AIVA owns the copyright. Suno Free, on the October 20 listing, includes no commercial rights and no monthly song download. A published episode wants a paid plan on either tool.
Which plan gives me the copyright?
AIVA Pro. The card says the copyright is owned by you, with full monetization. AIVA Standard still leaves the copyright with AIVA. Suno's paid plans, on the October 20 listing, include commercial use for songs made while you are subscribed. That listing does not say Suno assigns the copyright.
How much is AIVA if I pay monthly?
Standard is €15/month and Pro is €49/month on the monthly toggle. The yearly toggle shows €11/month and €33/month, plus VAT, billed annually. Free is €0.
