Pricing
Free is $0, no card: limited track creations, song previews of 0.5 minutes, 1 download a day, and limited Stem Splitter minutes. The free card does not name a commercial license. Personal is $10/month billed monthly, or $8/month billed annually ($96 a year), with 2,500 credits that refresh monthly, songs up to 7 minutes, a Personal commercial license, and MP3 and WAV. Pro is $30/month billed monthly, or $24/month billed annually ($288 a year), with 10,000 credits, songs up to 30 minutes, and a Pro commercial license. The annual toggle says save 20%. Monthly plans include Distro Basic: 20 releases a month and one artist profile. Annual plans include Distro Plus: 100% of streaming royalties and 200 releases a month. A popup offered code HOT30 for an extra 30% off annual plans and said the offer expires shortly, so that code is not the quoted price. Read on loudly.com/music/pricing.
Best for
An intro, a bed, or a stinger you can publish with the episode on a paid plan.
Strengths
- Personal and Pro both name a commercial license, and the license agreement lists podcasts.
- The free plan does not ask for a card, so you can hear a short preview first.
Limits
- The commercial license lasts for the subscription. A project published during that term can stay monetized.
- The track itself has to go out through Loudly Distribution. Advertising campaigns are a Pro right, and TV or a Netflix-style service needs a separate license.
