Async
Chat-based editor for video and podcast recordings, formerly Podcastle. It cuts fillers and pauses, cleans the voice, adds captions, and pulls short clips. Recording is still in the product.

Pricing
Free is $0 with 10 lifetime AI credits, read on async.com/pricing. Paid dollar amounts did not render in that page's HTML. Async's billing help lists Essentials at $19.99/month (450 credits), Pro at $39.99/month (1,200), and Teams at $84.99/month (3,000). Yearly totals on that help page are $143.90, $287.90, and $599.90. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Business is custom.
Best for
A host or YouTuber who wants the rough cut, captions, and a few shorts from the same upload.
Strengths
- Recording, filler cuts, audio cleanup, captions, and clips share one project.
- The free plan does not ask for a card.
Limits
- Paid prices are from Async's billing help, not a line-by-line read of the pricing page.
- Monthly credits reset, and a chat edit can spend more of them than a simple subtitle pass.
