Pricing
The yearly prices were showing on speechify.com/pricing-studio. Free is $0: 600 Studio credits, 1,000+ voices, Voiceover Studio, Dubbing Studio, and Voice Changer, with no commercial usage rights. The card does not say those 600 credits refresh. Studio Starter is $100/year for 86,400 credits. The page calls that 24 hours of voiceover, 8 hours of dubbing, or 48 minutes of avatar. Studio Creator is $300/year for 345,600 credits. The monthly feature lists Creator at 28,800 credits, which the page calls 8 hours of voiceover or 3 hours 12 minutes of dubbing. At the published rate of 3 credits a dubbing second, 28,800 credits is 2 hours 40 minutes. The same tooltip's yearly dubbing line is 32 hours, which does match that rate. The page's plan data also lists Starter at $19/month for 7,200 credits (2 hours of voiceover, 40 minutes of dubbing, or 4 minutes of avatar) and Creator at $49/month for 28,800 credits. A voiceover second is 1 credit, a dubbing second is 3, and an avatar second is 30. Re-exporting unchanged speech is free. The FAQ says the free plan lasts as long as you want and has full functionality, and also says downloading an mp3 is when you upgrade. Paid plans include commercial usage rights.
Best for
A narration or a dub when the pricing page converts credits into hours.
Strengths
- Paid plans state commercial rights, and the credit totals are printed as hours.
- Re-exporting the same speech does not spend another credit.
Limits
- Free has no commercial rights, and the FAQ disagrees with itself about a free mp3 download.
- An avatar second costs 30 credits, so a presenter video spends the pool much faster than a read.
