Pricing
Web prices, read on audiopen.ai/pricing. Free is $0, no card: recordings up to 3 minutes, a rewrite in a style you pick, voice typing for a limited number of sessions the page does not count, and your own styles. Prime is one account on the web, iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, and the Chrome extension. Three months is $33, shown as $11 a month. One year is $99, shown as $8.25 a month, and the page says save 25%. Two years is $159, shown as $6.63 a month, and the page says save 40%. $99 is 25% off a year of $11. $159 is not 40% off two years of $11, which would be $158.40, and $159 divided by 24 months is $6.625, which the page prints as $6.63. Prime adds unlimited recordings up to 15 minutes, unlimited voice typing, and audio uploads up to 100 MB, 100 files every 4 weeks. App Store and Google Play prices can differ. A team order of up to 100 one-year licenses is 20% off. Read on audiopen.ai/pricing.
Best for
A host who talks a script, a newsletter, or show notes and wants the ums taken out of the text.
Strengths
- Free is a real recording, up to 3 minutes, and it does not ask for a card.
- The year is a flat $99 on the web. That charge is 25% off the 3-month rate.
Limits
- The two-year card says save 40% and $6.63 a month. The charge is $159, which is not quite either figure.
- The prices are for the web. The iPhone and Android apps sell Prime at the store's own price.
